Liza Tripp is a full-time freelance translator working from French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese into English with over 20 years of experience.
After many years translating for the litigation and luxury fashion sectors, Liza is now focusing on translating fashion, art, fiction, and poetry books. She also continues to provide French/English consecutive interpreting services.
Liza holds an M. Phil in French Translation from CUNY Graduate Center, a B.A. in French from Barnard College, and a Certificate in French Translation from New York University. She is ATA certified from French and Spanish into English, and has studied language throughout Europe and South America. Liza resides in Centerport, NY and Rockport, MA with her husband Noel, their three daughters Lorelei, Ariel, and Matilda, and Airedale Terrier Hershey.
